This website displays windowed content on the home page called "Floatbox". It is a highly customizable JavaScript library with great image gallery capability and support for all types of interactive content coupled with strong programmability.

There are many clones, typically called "Lightbox"...and I have tried a number of them. I continue to use "Floatbox" because it is stable, flexible, and the support is second to none.
